Oh boy. The about me page. I swear this is the hardest topic to cover for me. What is it I’m supposed to write here? Most people don’t care about my gear, although I primarily use Canon equipment. My photographic resume has been building steadily for a little over three years and I am a member of Canon Professional Services and Professional Photographers of America. So how about more of who I am and a little on what makes me, well… me?
I’m left-handed despite my Catholic school teachers best attempts to change that. I’m terrible at sports and have particularly bad aim. I once broke a friends finger when I threw a rock that was supposed to go away from her. Ya, it’s that bad, and I still feel terrible about it. I wish I could fly. I crashed my brother’s dirt bike the first day he had it. I hate scary movies and have legit nightmares. I love roller coasters but don’t even try to get me on the teacups unless you want your day to be over. The best advice I ever got was that you are only as vulnerable as the decisions you make and the company you keep. Oh, and to make sure there is toilet paper on the roll before you sit (girls, you’ll get that one!). I’m addicted to coffee and I came really close to opening my own coffee shop called Jconn Cafe. I love to travel and spent 6 months in Germany as an au pair after I graduating high school. I not-so-secretly wish I could go on The Amazing Race. I fell in love with my husband at first sight during my first semester of college and we have been together since I was 18 years old.
